Changed my mind on the UN. Use to think it was a usless, money wasting organization. Now that they have 2 cruise ships, sitting out in the Port-o-Prince harbor, Haiti, for when UN workers get tired of cleaning up. If I'da known that was a job perk for working for the UN, I would have joined years ago. One of the ships owners has close ties with Hugo Chaviz. Now, we all know what a humanitarian he is. Wonder if any of the Holleywood elite's are gonna go down to ride around and tell us it was Bush's fault, knowing that they can go back on board ship and eat lobster tail and shrimp for dinner? gypsyman

like some of them supporting the healthcare overhaul... why don't they adopt and have a family full of orphans like angelina jolie?  why not put up the money for shelters in new orleans like the pitts and friends did?  most of them mouth off and then go back into their mansions, safe and secure (and rich)- not doing a thing to further any humanitarian efforts.  I share your disgust.
