Call the manufacturer, give them the serial number, they should be able to give you the combination.

Most SN's are on the back of the safe and on the paper work . If you got it new the store may have it recorded . But if not a good locksmith can get in in seconds
If ya can see it ya can hit it !

Where do You find the serial number?

There should be a plate either on the top or on the back with model and SN.  Once you do find the combination, enter it in your address book as a phone number.  you will know which is the extra digit.

I've done alot of cutting on AR 400 and 500 hardness steel. Just lay it on the side, and I can cut the top off. Can't promise what's inside won't get alittle warm! ::)gypsyman

I am speculating, but I'm pretty sure that the manufacturer will NOT give you the combination, just like Microsoft won't help you access your computer if you forget your password.

It is worth a try, though.

I would start by getting a stethoscope and lightly sanding my finge...oh, never mind.

I think the Serial number would be a good bet with the company perhaps requiring a faxed bill of sale?

I do think that mechanical is better than digital as I passed on a decent one last fall, had reoccuring nightmares about the digital not letting me in on the eve before deer season :o

Once you get your combo back, it can be scratched into the bottom of the dining room table. It wouldn't hurt it any as you had your reloading press mounted there at one time?  ;)

The manufacture will probably not give you the combo, even with the serial number.  How can they confirm you are who you say you are.  The best bet is to call a locksmith.  Spendy, but the only way to get it open.  The locksmith may be able to get the combo from the maker, since he is licensed and bonded.

Recommend calling Stack-on, they may have a locksmith in your area they deal with.

i think a call to the manufacuter isnt going to hurt you one bit.  the worst they can do is say no.

after you resolve this situation, have the combination tattooed on you for future reference.

When I bought my AmSec safe, that was one of the things in the information packet - if you lost or forgot your combination, call with the SN, Mod, and one other piece of information (don't recall what right now) and they could get you the combination.

Look on the lower right side of the front door for the serial number. That's where it is on two of mine.

This reminds me of when a local guy, building contractor by trade, bought the biggest Browning Safe on the market at the time, from a local gun shop.  One late spring Saturday morning he and a couple of his slaves went up and brought the safe back home.  W and his buddies couldn't get it in the door.  But not to worry--they were a builder and his crew-- so they took down the door and casing and managed to get the safe inside, where they positioned it for good.  The combination was hanging on the lock dial.  W  looked at it, spun the dial, and voila!  He opened the big door.  After viewing the inside, and reading the enclosed literature, W looked at the card with the combination printed on it and said "Geez!  I better put this where I won't lose it".  Into the safe it went, along with a few of his trusty deer rifles and a couple of shotguns, and the safe door slammed shut.  After waking up to what he'd just done, W put his guys to work at putting his entry door back together, and took a trip to the gun shop.  The shopkeeper did get the combination for W, but it involved identity checks, etc. along with the serial number that the store owner did manage to save in his records. A lot of effort not to be repeated!  I think W keeps the combination to his safe somewhere else now.
