I just bought a new 20GA ULTRA Slug Gun,can someone tell me what height scope rings are needed to mount a scope, low rings will not work because of the high hammer.I'am going to mount a leupold M8 shotgun scope.
Thanks,Ed.

I put the Weaver Xtra High on my 7-08 because I like the higher scope due to way I learned to shoot rifles with see through scope mounts, but I would say med or high would work. Go with high to be sure or if you want a low scope go with med and bob the hammer.

There is also lots of information on this subject in the FAQ's plus it's required reading for Handi owners. Welcome aboard keep your arms and feet inside the car grab a soft seat and hold on the rides about to begin. Kurt

I have high rings on my Ultra Slugger...I also installed the hammer spur to ease function with the scope mounted. I might try to mount a little lower rings...Maybe medium...I have a little bit of room and would like to get the scope as close to the barrel as possible.
