Handiaholics in New Orleans??

Hello everyone,
  I'm gonna be in N.O. this Monday and then again next month for longer.  Any Handiaholics there?  ;)  Where's your favorite Candy Stores?

Ain't that a state with newly liberal primitive weapon laws? Pick up some cheap used muzzleloaders  ;D I remember seeing handguns for sale in gas stations. Very gun friendly state.

Out in Metairie there are 2 places, Puglia's and Chag's.  They both have 45-70's, 444s and some 44 mags for the LA and MS 'primitive' seasons.  They really don't have much else except an occasional youth size 243.    Some of the pawn shops out in Metairie or the westbank may have more interesting stuff.  (The city itself does not have many gun shops anymore.)

Perhaps in a few years as folks begin to see the versatility/potential of these 'primitive' weapons there will be more handi-holics and stores that cater to them around here.  I just got my first accessory barrel (12 ga with chokes) recently and have not fired it yet.

I will be in California starting Monday, or I would have wanted to meet you.

Smoke poles are a dime a dozen here since the new "Primitive" seasons kicked in.  You really need to go north a bit to Gongales, just south of Baton Rouge right on I10 to Cableas.  Last time I was there they had a pretty good supply of handis & loads of other guns, reloading supplies etc. the Taxidermy alone is worth the trip.

Bowies Outfitters in Baton Rouge on Perkins Rd has some of the best prices around on new firearms.  Waggenspack gun and reloading supplies in Gonzales usually has decent prices on reloading stuff and handguns.

+1 for Mark Waggenspack.  Mark is a very nice guy to deal with. Doesn't price gouge never did never will.  Goes against his grain. ;)
