Draw results?
« on: April 10, 2010, 09:03:53 AM »
Hi all,

So how did everyone here do?

I drew nothing, but only put in for a moose tag anyway. That's Ok, because last year while hunting in my area with a cow moose only permit, I kept running into 3 good size bulls. I'll be after those bulls this year.

Good Luck, KP

Hmm guessing I didn't get anything since I haven't received any notification.  But I'll have to check on my annual donations for muskox and bison. Thanks for the reminder.

Edit

WHOA!!!! HOLD ON!!  I see I won a cow bison hunt in Delta!!!!!

What a way to spice up a windy slushy Saturday of loafing and surfing!  Now I gotta get to planning! Have a good hunting buddy in Fairbanks as well as a BIL. My buddy got his buff a few years ago. He might be able to help me out I hope as he does some guiding these days. Come to think of it I might have a few friends who might like to help.

October to March.  I have a lot of figgerin and plannin' and practicin' to do.  Living in Dillingham, logistics will be interesting. Especially since my 12yr wants to go.

Turned my day from dull to real exciting!!!

KP thanks for jogging my attention!

Guess the old 300 win could do the job. Wonder if I could justify a 375 with the distaff department?

Ha ha - free - I like that. Gotta find it and shoot it first. But I have time to work up some plans. Once in a life time opportunity so I want to do my best. It sure won't be free but it should be worth it.

Wonder if any guides in the Delta area do bison hunts. Logistics will be a challenge for me.

Dand,

I'm in Fairbanks. Let me know if I can help out with those logistics problems.

Good Luck

KP thanks, I'll keep you in mind.

Can't wait to get the info package that is supposed to come to me.

Already checking inventory on heavy bullets and such.
