Hog Hunting - Wicitha Fall TX

Hi All,

You can tell I know a lot about Texas since I don't know how to spell Wichita??? correctly.  Any way my kid is going to the air base at Wicitha Falls in June and will be there for 12 months.  Wife & I are going to visit but I haven't schedule the trip yet.  Kid loves to hunt as do I.  Looking for recommendations for a guided hunt or game preserve hunt, for boar, in that part of Texas.

The communities around Shepherd do a great job of supporting the base.  They have many activities for the airmen.  When he gets there, he should let the support people on base know of his interest.

Now you said boar, I don't know if that means the big russian kind or if you just want to hunt hogs.  There are thousands of ferral hogs in this area. I don't know of any professional services, though.

I live across the river in OK. Will do a some checking about guided hunts.  I think there are some in the Electra, Archer City region, not very far from Wichita, Falls.

Thanks for you help.  I should have posted Hog, not Boar, just as long as it doesn't have a farmer's yellow plastic tag on its ear I am happy.
