I had some .45 with that head stamp, it's actually Cyrillic.  The brass is from Yugoslavia.  I go to http://www.cartridgecollectors.org/headstampcodes.htm to check head stamps, btw.

I bought some cheap 223 Monarch brand ammo at Academy.....it was stamped NNY, except the N's were a large size lower case N (almost an upside down U).

FWIW - it made the most reliable grouping reloads of all the brands I had.
The difference between people who do stuff and people who don't do stuff is that the people who do stuff do stuff.

Prvi partizan,  made in Serbia.  I believe their cases are now stamped PPU.

This is what is on my WOLF brass-nny, but the way it is stamped it could be 2 upside down U's. I know WOLF brand is made in Serbia. I use it in my 7 mm Rem Mag and reload it. Works well for me.

If you are using the Wolf Gold ammo it is made by Prvi Partizan. It is just packaged by Wolf as the Gold line. You can get the same ammo in the Prvi Partizan label boxes cheaper most of the time. It is pretty good brass cases for loading. I have used the Prvi made cases for 7.62X54R and 7.5X55 for a good while and I make up some match winning ammo and the cases really last a long time.
