1 inch steel balls

In the past couple of weeks we had a discussion on steel balls and somebody put up a link to a good less expensive source for we one inch steel balls.

Any body remember what the source was.

Hi, One source mentioned was Super Magnet Man on the unnamed auction site.  Cost was less than $00.75 ea in the quantity I bought. Very reliable vendor, recommend highly.

I ordered fifty 1 inch steel balls from SuperMagnet Man on Tuesday and the came today.  

The balls were $35 and shipping in the flat rate box was $11.

The balls are chrome plated and look round I measured 10 of the balls with my micrometer.  Measurements were taken in two different location and range from .9999 to .10003.  Windage for a 1 inch ball is .026.  Correct bore diameter with rule of thumb windage for a 1 inch ball is 1.026.

When I tried to place my order I did not find the flat rate box option in the estimated shopping option of the website, so I sent an email to them and asked about it.  I had a series of back and forth email and in about a hour, not only was my order taken, it was shipped and at the flat rate. Also within that hour, the website was updated and now reflects the option of he flat rate box

Now to go make a bunch of sabots  go shoot them.
