Any of you guys out there with largish hand have trouble with the LCP.I shot 50 rds thru mine Sat and every couple of shots my thumb would hit the mag release and cause the next shell loading to stove-pipe.

my wife has an LCP. i shoot it a few rounds from it when we go to the range.
last sunday she ran 100 rounds thru it and only had 1 FTE. i have put a total of 40 or so rounds thru it and have not had a problem.
i do have big hands,  i do have to change my grip when i shoot the LCP as compared to my Kahr.40, but i think thats more because the grip on the LCP is so short, neither of us have had a mag drop issue.

I have fairly large hands and not have had a problem.  My biggest problem with the LCP is keeping one.  When I got my first one my son who is a le officer went with me to see how it would function.  Well gave it to him, he really liked it and his birthday was in a few days.  Had to get a new one for myself and no problem with this one either.  By the way both went through the 200 round break ins with flying colors.

I put a crimson trace lazer on my wife's a few weeks ago--in deed you have to change the way you hold a pistol with it, if you have large hands. No mag release problems--but tried a two hand hold and it bit me --got to watch out for the second hand when shooting it.

Found out that it didn't like steel case shells though--had some Russian bullets with steel cases--kept sticking in the chamber. Brass shells worked fine. Other than the steel case problem, and watching where my thumb is on my left hand--it worked rather well.

My LCP has worked fine so far in my big hands, but I do find my thumb hitting the mag release.  I had the same problem with my KEL-TEK .32 auto, and actually dropped the magazine several times.  I took a Dremel Tool to the release button and ground it just about flush.  Now to drop a magazine I have to actually push the button in with my thumb nail.  Not fast, but a compromise.  If I am carrying for real, its a Glock or a 1911.

What about accuracy? Could you hit a pie plate at 25 yards?

I was shooting my LCP for the first time several days ago. Only put about 15 rounds thru it as I had other stuff to shoot. I'm no slouch with a handgun mid you, however I concluded after examining my target ( at 12 yards ) this is definitely an up close and personal weapon, at least for me. Remember, it's a 380 too.

I've never thrown mine at anything that small.  ;D

The only problem I've had with it so far is that it hurts to shoot. I usually wear gloves when shooting .44 mag and larger. Now I have to get them out for this dinky little .380.
