Anybody finding Federal Standard Small Pistol Primers?

Not me.  I can find a few match primers, but just a few.

Not me either, but I do not use Federal primers, so I have not been looking. I did score 5K CCI 500 (standard small pistol) just a little while back.

I had a buddy order me some up recently at Gene Sears online store about a month ago.
I think you just have to be lucky and catch them in stock.

I had back ordered 5K of the CCI 500 and 5K of the Remington 7 1/2 primers back in June of '09. The CCI came in about 2 months ago and the Remington, I just got 2 weeks ago. I ordered them them through MidSouth. It took a while, but I got them eventually. I really like the way MidSouth handles back orders. Personally, I am set for primers for some time now.

I traded 2K of CCI small rifle primers for 2K Federal small pistol primers about 2 months ago.  The shop was really hard up for small rifle, and I was nearly out of small pistol.  Both of us were happy, I don't use a lot of small rifle primers, he needed small rifle for his guys that shoot a lot of .223

BTW I saw him sticker the small rifle primers at $4.00 per hundred!  I bought them for $19.95/thousand, which is $1.95 per hundred!  Unbelievable!

Hey, Gander Mountain gets $4.99 per hundred.
Before I quit loading 20+ years ago primers were $10-$12 per thousand and powder was $8-$10 a pound.
But I digress.....

I found large and small Federal pistol primers at a local Ft. Worth gun store known for their high prices for $44.00/1000.  A couple weeks later at the DFW gun show one of the ammo dealers had stacks of them for $30.00/1000.  I was glad to find them  so I am well stocked up for now.

Seems like the gun shows are getting them now.  Prices are still a little steep, but if we lose in the fall, $30 is going to be a bargain.

CCI seems to be the ones I'm finding, in fact, in pistol, a local chain store here has plenty. I am also not talking about gouge you mountain. They have quite a selection, for what it's worth, of CCI pistol primers. With there prices, yes $4.99 /100 seems there not flying off the shelves, go figure, well we can.   I also use Fed 215 L.R.Mags, those seem to be non-existant. I have replaced those with Rem 9 1/2 M. Any Federal primers are hard to come by it seems, well at least for me. CRASH87
