Have you ever give any thought to where the GBO members come from? Well I have....

This is the top 10 states and how many members from each. These stats are only for 1 day so I am sure it will change but you get a good idea....

Alot of ya'll have more people in one city than we have in the entire state of Montana.  Matt, where does Montana rate?  Close to last i'm betting.  DP

you must have looked at who logged in in one day versus all 36000+ members.  i would be interested to see the breakdown overall.

I have added Google Analytics to GBO so we can get demographics for advertisers. I just added this yesterday to replace awstats which was the software I have been using for years. The new software is great as it gives me break downs by state, day, time and more... before I did not have near the info I do now.... Maybe now we will be able to bring in more advertisers and get the income level of GBO up to a point that we can get back to not needing donations from the memebrs.

DP: bet you got more people in Helena and Great Falls than we got in the entire state of Alaska.  Yet we are almost three times bigger than Texas.  Anchorage and Juneau are liberal, the rest of the state is conservative.

I think I know why CA and NY are in the top 5.
We are big anti gun states and it is easier to talk about shooting and hunting than it is to walk out the back door and actually do it.

Ahhhh come on Old Fart. You know Switzer rode Johnson's wave after he stepped into an already built team. Johnson was a Florida and Louisiana boy and done a five season stay at OU. Switzer barely was able to stay outta jail down here. Kept goin to airports with pistols.  ;D

For the most part spammers get deleted unless they post porn in which case they get banned. The new system in place has mostly stopped spammers from being able to post.

Lots of those folks tho have never made a single post since registering but then that's the way everywhere, most just come to read not post.

Johnson is a Pt. Arthur product---Born and reared.
Barry Switzer was an embarrsement to every team he was with--but--he won and was tolerarted for that--for awhile.
Like most owners, this one has an ego the size of Texas--they could have done better without his side line antics, interference and ego.
