i looked at a new 410 rossi a couple of weeks ago, the receiver looked to be about half the thickness of an HR.  now i know with today's spaceage metal's, that thickness doesn't mean much.  But that rossi didn't exactly have a spaceage price on it.

I am a H&R fan from way back, but a less than 3 1/2 lbs And about half the thickness of an h&r a rossi 410 youth is hard to beat for a walkabout gun. I actually but another 410 rossi and put the 22" barrel of the set  on it so I have the 22 rifle and 410 shotgun.

Hey plumberroy! You like that rossi 410, my dad has one its a wooden stock, He likes the gun! That one in the photo is a 20ga. it belongs to my son in law, thats my youngest taken a shot with it, but he likes his H&R's better!....just thought I'd add a little humor to this place cause things were startin to get way to serious!...Yikes! ;D scout4<><
