Well for the most part I would agree with DDZ.
I have a son that was a Sgt. in the 82nd Airborne, and during all three of his tours (1 Afghanistan, and 2 in Iraq) I was worried about his safety for obvious reasons. During my darker bouts of thinking I gave it some consideration of the worst happening to my son, and these clowns showing up for his funeral. In my mind I tried to rationalize, but in my heart I knew that I most likely would not tolerate that level of disrespect at such an event, especially for my youngest born, regardless of the consequences to myself. I am pleased beyond description, that he is out of the military, and I sincerely hope for good. Our governmental leaders are fools, and scoundrels of the worst sort.
Political correctness will strip one of their dignity if one lets it, and I am not inclined toward it, as my few friends, and enemies that actually know me, will verify. I cannot imagine allowing such a thing, at such a time in a families sorrow, and bad judgement most likely take over in my case.
If some one's family member, such as a father, or brother, or brothers, at some point, somewhere in this country takes a pistol to the leader of such a demonstration, at their son's, or brother's funeral, then I would support them fully in their endeavor. A funeral is no place for a foolish barking dog.
