Yep!
I have been to two or three in Denver! I attended one last week. Good turnout.
The message is getting out and the ones on the opposite side of the movement are feeling the pressure!

The message is getting out there loud and clear.  politicians are getting so nervous the media is doing its best to downplay the tea party events and portray the people who attend as ignorant rednecks.  I have heard that d-rats and the media even send people to attend who will intentionally mis-spell wording on their placards and seek interview with the local media coverage so as to portray the party members as ignorant and racist.  Fortunately it doesn't always work but we encountered this sort of thing at the albany tea party rally.

I think the fear that is rising amongst the d-rats and liberals is so palatable that they are using every strategy they can to make those so discontented with this administration appear stupid and racist, especially as mid-term elections near.  That means they are scared badly.  And has anyone noticed how they continue to harp on Palin - she may have tarnished her presence somewhat but the d-rats are still so scared of her they can't let go.  I would love to see obama become a lame duck with half his term left and I would love to see nancy pelosi be the shortest term houose speaker in the history of the United States.  jmtcw.

Tea parties are under attack from the left and the Hollywood crowd.  Like from this clueless little punk. There are people even clapping and cheering his comments. The only answer is that yes, they are afraid of the tea party movement. Tea parties are not dieing like some predicted, but continue to grow.

IMHO ,
The Tea Party started out with good intentions. T.E.A. Taxed Enough Already. It was made up of Independents, Republicans, Democrates, Progressivies, Libritarians etc..etc.. Blacks, whites asians, hispanics , educated non educated, Wealthy and poor, all peoples ...all walks of life who were tired of being taxed to death and wanted a return to fiscal conservatism.

Since then they have been hijacked by the mainstream Republican party who has tried to seize there energy and exploit for their own political gain.... and it has gone downhill since. Now Tea party folks have turned on each other and are a camp divided.. The Palin-ites  vs the Paul - inites with no true Leadership to bring them together. (except mainstream business as usual Republicans who continuously try to capitalize on their synergy.

In the 2008 Iowa Caucuses. A record 350,000 people participated.
230,000 attended a Democratic caucus.
120,000 attended a republican caucus.

The Iowa tea Party movement has 10,000 voters.
Now divided, votes will split between Independent and Republican. Because of this rift
they will have very little influence.

I see this same scenario being carried out across all the states in the 2012 elections.

Here's a good read :(I happen to agree with the observations, feel free to disagree)

The Tea Party is running against history and time, and neither favors the Tea Party.
If history is the best predictor of the future, and it usually is, the Tea Party will have a short shelf life. Beginning well before the Civil War, such movements have come and gone, including the Locofoco, Barnburner, Free Soil, Anti-Masonic, Know-Nothing, Popu-list, Progressive and a host of others. In 1948 it was Strom Thurmond’s Dixiecrats; in 1968, George Wallace’s American Independent Party; and in 1992, Ross Perot’s Reform Party. History says that like all of those movements the Tea Party will have one day in the sun.

These movements have lacked staying power because America has a large, broad-based two-party system which absorbs them by adapting to their demands. For example, the Republicans and Richard Nixon captured George Wallace’s movement by adopting a “Southern strategy.”
So the key to the success of the Tea Party rests not in its continuous existence, but in convincing one or both of the major parties to adopt most, if not all, of its policy objectives. George Wallace’s movement contributed significantly to the rightward move of the Republican Party, strengthening the hand of Republican conservatives against liberal Eastern establishment Republicans.
Time may run out the Tea Party. Coming into existence on the advent of the 2010 mid-term elections, the Tea Party must rally its troops now. In political time, the 2012 presidential election is a long way off. The Tea Party may lack the staying power to remain a significant force in 2012.

But rallying an independent movement and developing a possible third-party during the mid-term elections presents numerous problems. To illustrate, already in many states Democrats and Republicans have selected their candidates for various offices, so that the Tea Party is left with supporting a major party candidate rather than developing its own candidates either inside or outside its own movement. Moreover, during the mid-term elections, the public lacks the intensity of focus on campaigns and elections that it otherwise has during a presidential election year. It’s that intensity of public focus that greatly helps such movements as the Tea Party.

Despite history and time running out on the Tea Party, it can still significantly influence American politics if it establishes effective leadership and articulates a convincing political agenda. Absent a key leader that speaks for the movement and a specific agenda, it will lose much of its potential power in 2010 and its potential for continuing influence in 2012.
Regarding leadership, will someone arise to unify the disparate forces in the Tea Party? The media need someone who can speak authoritatively for the movement. The clock is rapidly running out for the Tea Party to rally around an articulate and respected leader.

Regarding its policy agenda, the Tea Party must speak in something more than glittering generalities, such as (1) limited government, (2) fiscal responsibility, (3) free and fair markets, (4) individual liberty base on personal responsibility and (5) a return to constitutional governance. What does the party mean by each of these? As the political battles heat up, the media and political adversaries will press the Tea Party to define what it means by these general policy goals. Specifically, for example, where would the party cut the federal budget or how would it restore constitutional governance?
History and time may be against the Tea Party, but it still has the potential to shake up America’s lethargic two-party system. The Tea Party large voter base could sway many elections in 2010 and influence one or both of the major parties to adjust to its policy and candidate preferences in 2012.

I've been to a few myself and was proud to be among the crowd of good people in attendance. I would like to thank President Huessien for two things. Thank you for being a rotten evil marxist progressive because without your sick ideological bent "We the People" would not have awoke form our stupor and finally decided to become responsible informed liberty loving people. Second and close to my heart, is your single handed ability to make the gun industry record record profits through "We the People" clinging to our God and our guns. Thanks so much Barry!!! Steve
