I am Kalifornia Kowboy
« on: April 16, 2010, 09:38:35 AM »
I have a greybeard and I spend a lot of time outdoors so I must belong here.

The wife

And I

Enjoy shooting.

We have a Browning Buckmark.

A Savage 93R17-GV

A Henry H001 and a Ruger Single Six

The ubiquitous 10/22

A Marlin 25M

A Rossi 20 gauge/.223

And a Ruger Mark III

We have a cat that is strangely attracted to guns, Pico.

An old sleepy horsie, Rad.

Hope to meet lots of new gun enthusiasts here.

This guy: was wearing a tee-shirt with your " Old guys rule" picture on it. He is competing in cowboy mounted shooting. You gallop around on your horsie with a pair of Ruger Vaqueros each loaded with five .45lc blanks.( There is enough crud that gets spit out of a blank cartridge to blow up a balloon or penetrate a milk jug) You ride though a course and blow stuff up. It's totally great.Since you are firing off a .45 a foot away from your horsies ears  all afternoon you stuff giant earplugs into their giant ears.
