Black Bear Mount

I just wanted to show off the bear I shot in 2007, just got it back.  The young lady is my daughter, she is 10 yrs old.  I shot this with my .50 cal great plains 385gr HPHB.  It is 368lbs shot in Northern Miane from a ground blind at 12 yards....

One of the nicest mounts I've seen and in Alaska I see lots of bear mounts.Congrats for sure and what a lovely daughter

Nice mount there Pete... I want one that big this year.. No thinking about it, I am shooting a big one...

Can't wait to get back up there to see you and the Family... Jerry, Jeff and I are getting everything ready for our trip this year..
Still have not decided on which gun, but whatever one it is, will leave a big hole..

Alex,

I'm sure anything you bring will leave a big hole........Can't wait to see old friends and make some new ones.......We're starting to see some bear, Brian saw a monster the other day.......There was somethng on the side of it......said this is ALEX'S bear......

That's awesome! I'm hoping to take a big bear this year, but just getting to hunt gets my motor runnin'.
