Hornet bore size?

This is from FAQ:

22 Hornet 1 n 12" (original H&R pre '87 1:16"?)(or 1:9" for late production)
.22 Jet 1:16" .221 bore
.223 1 in 12", late models are a mix of 1:9"/1:12",  2007 Marlin produced barrels are 1:9", use instructions below to determine the twist rate.

Is the hornet also a .221 bore?  I want to rechamber one to 221 fireball if the bore is .223

It won't matter, go ahead and rechamber it, I have a 221 Fireball that started life as a Hornet, it works just fine. Stimpy has a 218 Bee that was a 22mag which shoots fine too, if there is a the small difference in bore it won't matter if you work you loads up safely. For example, I have an overbore fluted bull 270Win H&R with a .2795" bore, I shoot 7mm bullets in it just fine, unlike .277" bullets which shoot poorly.  ;)
