Quest 1000 accuracy
« on: April 18, 2010, 03:06:11 PM »
Once again today my Crosman Quest 1000 proved itself as an accurate shooting airrifle. I had removed the scope for awhile, then remounted it early this afternoon and decided to shoot a little bit. This time I shot Gamo match wadcutter pellets, so after only a few shots to zero the scope I shot the group pictured. This was kind of off hand shooting as I was leaning against a post to steady the rifle, shots where from about 30 yards, scope is a center point 3-9 X 32 and set at 6power. I know its not a $500.oo rig but I think its alot of gun for the money. Thanks! scout4<><

You don't need a $500.00 rifle to shoot little groups.  The crossman 2240 carbine I put together for my son shoots awesome.  Dime groups at 20yds.  Don't worry about the cost of a rifle just how much you enjoy it!!  Good shooting and good luck!
