Browning Maxus
« on: April 19, 2010, 02:18:23 PM »
Got to the range today to break in my 3" Maxus. Came from shooting a Benelli SBEII. This is some tool. Gun cycles so fast and sure it seems like you never touched off, 3" mags will let you know but not bad at all. I used some 50 or so dirty Rems express that were about 10years old, in highbrass #2's, never missed a beat. Can hardly believe how tight the action is, reminds me of a new M1A. Curious as to how long do these aluminum recievers last before the get sloppy and time to retire. I understand their rifles are the same way. Hopefully it won't be for a long time this is one slick 12ga.
