I went to pick up the equipment from the property today and I didn't remember to change the trailer hitch from the 2" ball to the more stout 2-5/8" Reese Hitch. So I just hitched up the tractor to the disc and went over the State property line clear zone a few times as a fire break and some of my "Safe Zone" cooridors that the deer and wildlife walk between my planted fields.
I intend to lightly spread another 50# of soy beans over these areas and in that way add another 1.0 to 1.5 acres of planted ground to the already 3.0 to 3.5 acres that are showing 10's of thousands of sprouting soy beans since last weekend.
I will pick up the tractor and trailer later this week.
