Model Help ....
« on: April 25, 2010, 02:28:33 PM »
I have a 336 that I bought used over 15 years ago, so I'm not real sure of the year. I need some parts. Any Idea on helping me with model #. All the gun says is 336. It has walnut non checkered with the bullseye and gold bang switch. How do you tell if it is a c, cs, etc. Will those say it on it? So is mine just a 336 with no suffix?
Thanks

It's a 336C unless it has the Cross Bolt Safey and then it's a 336CS.  Marlin didn't put the prefix on them for several years.
