Went to a small gun show this weekend and ran across a fellow who had some Steyr Mausers on his table - also had a bunch of Mosins (beautiful rifles for $90).
The Mausers were marked Steyr Waffenfabrik Austria, and had bolts shaped like the VZ24s. These were gorgeous rifles (8mm) and were going for about $250. The dealer (from Mass.) said his friend, a arms importer, just purchased 25,000 of these rifles from somewhere in south America. I wonder which of the major gun houses will be selling these first??
