Public Hunts?
« on: April 26, 2010, 05:54:31 AM »
I am thinking about trying to hunt a few public hunts this year for dove and quail. I have checked the TPWD website and have my sights set on a certain WMA to hit. My question is, has anyone had any luck with public bird hunts?

I figure i could just pay the general fee for 48 bucks and try a couple of times during the season....

I have hiked and cycled public land but never actually hunted any.

Might be possible to bird hunt public land. My biggest fear of public land is..................the public!
