hi y'all ant been on the site for a while.i thought they closed it. but glade its not.my 12gauge tdc is a turkey killing machine.i love this gun.i have killed at least 5 or 6 with it.here in ky i have tagged out for the year.got a bearded hen and a big tom this year.hope y'all are having the same luck

This Saturday is the start of our regular spring season here in N.Y. I'll be using my 20ga TDC this as my kid has taken over mossy 835. We can only take 2 birds here. My buddy took his 13 year old daghter out last Saturday for the youth hunt,and called in a nice big ole tom for her. She pounded it at about 45 yards and it had a 10 in beard.

A buddy of mine got a bearded hen 4-5 years ago. we got talking to the DEC agent and he told us about 1 in every 1000 hens will have a beard. Pretty cool and still a leagal bird. So you only get 2 tags in Ky. Is there a fall turkey season there?

yes there is a fall season.but don't no the tag limits.i only hunt them in the spring.fish and wildlife say's were going to have a record year.that there abundence of 2year old birds this year.and i would hav't to agree.i seen a lot of toms strutting.on the open rige tops.
