Okay, I'll bite, what are "floaters"?
the little spots that float through your vision.

Floaters are the result of tiny blood clots floating in the vitreous humor (gel that fills the space between the lens and the retina of the eyeball) from broken capilliaries within the eye.

I think a lot of young people waste their time and money going to medical school.  All you have to do is get old and you will become an expert on your particular problem(s).   :P

Land Owner, thanks for the detail on the floaters, since one of my hobbies is collecting pulmonary emboli the floaters are probably next.

Floaters are fibers that clump together in the viscous fluid in your eyes. They get in the focus area and they appear as strings or spots. They move around when your head is moved. You can rotate your eyes like spnning water in a glass with solids in the water and spin them out of the focus path sometimes. Laser removal is available also.

I've had tinnitus (and floaters and migranes) for a long time. Seems everything I did in my younger years was loud; music, M80's, shooting and working in manufacturing. No ear protection most of the time.

I told my Wife.... "Could you PLEASE answer the PHONE!?"

 "But honey, it's not ringing!"

"Oh............ Well, maybe they'll call back later."

My 12 year old daughter doesn't talk very loud so she sends me text messages while we are both in the same room. :(
