I have a Bushmaster AR-15 with the carry mount. If I mount a scope on the carry handle in a mount, I will use a comb height riser so I get a good stock weld, then sight in the scope for 100 yards. Because of the scope being so high above the bore line of the rifle will it make the bullet strike really high at 200 yards?
My plan is to sight in 1.5" high at 100 yards and that should put me about dead on at 200 yards and about 1.5 low at 250 yards. This works out in a bolt rifle with a low to the bore mounted scope.
