I've tried the colibs in a remington model 572 (pump) with good results out to about 30 yards. They are effective, but I prefer the CCI CB Longs. I don't do it often, but when I shoot the CBs, I use a beautiful old winchester 1890 .22 Long (made in January 1901). The old rifle is in perfect condition and is a tack driver, again, out to about 100 ft. (yeah I know that's about 30 yards, too). The 1890 shoots the Longs better than the Remington shoots the Longs or the colibs. So, my recommendation is go get a hundred year old 1890 .22 long shooter, first, then you can better nail down which ammo to use. The choice will be made for you.
