Don't worry, I'm not much of a 'gut shooter', for anything. I wouldn't believe much that's heard, including a guy who said he has intentionally wounded a deer to show someone 'what not to do'. It's probably just an excuse for a guy who can't put the bullet where it should go.

Now where is the wolf 'eco-tourist' who will pay $$ to sit in a stand and watch wild wolves in their element?? I can think of many ways these wolves cost $$ but see about none where they bring in ANY. I used to always buy a MI non-res deer license for the U.P.. I am on about a 5 yr stretch where I have not. My personal protest with the wolf issue. I'm off to IL again this Fall, here's why.

Well I hope the wolves go out of control there. And I'm sure they will, WI is even more liberal than MN. I'm just giving a little advice on how it has been handled across the river for years. The reason the world is so screwed up is people over complicate things. I gave you a simple. effective method to handle the little bitty wolf issue you have there. We have hundreds the times the numbers of wolves as you and we have been dealing with them for years.

MMMMMMMMMM

That's a lot of mean stuff to say. You are basically a troll. No more and no less. You are passionate about gruesome murder and gut shooting animals as a solution to most problems. And you, from the land of Al Franken, call WI more liberal. You are a hate filled ugly little man of small character.  :o

Honestly, something must be done. People in Wi. are just on a protest with the dnr. I know people that don't even buy certain licenses. Many are just do po'd that they are breaking the law out of spite. I have not done it but some relatives have. I have a brother with a bear tag that might not be able to go so he tries talking me into going up and shooting one then give me a call. So What he sais. There was a time when in my  camp it was forbidden to break any laws! I don't know if I should admit this but those times have changed some. Noone has any respect for the dnr and all eight hunters have quit hunting except me, my inlaw and son started though. Sad times in Wisconsin. An old buddy knows a warden that said I  look the other way when I hear of a wolf shooting. Ya can call me whatever but people obey laws until it doesn't make any sense and little seems to make sense.

I'm hurt cheese.
Have a nice day my friend. And God bless you.

All I did was offer a simple and effective solution. I bet mine works, at least it has here for many years. And I bet it is being done right about now.

I remember one very dark almost black timber we used to see pretty regularly. For some reason he disapeared. Kinda gives me that warm fuzzy feeling. ;)

I had a hunting partner who once said that "any man who would intentionally gut-shoot an animal would suck a dead man's nose until his head caved in".  His name was Gene, and he hunts every day now that he's passed on.

If I wanted to learn how to reduce wolf numbers I sure wouldn't ask a hate filled ugly little man of small character who lives in a state that has "hundreds the times the numbers of wolves" as Wisconsin has about how they keep the wolf numbers down.

SO........

There is one of the western states that recently said 'no state resources to investigate wolf kills'. I'd like to see MI or WI go that route when they keep getting blocked in court. Then we have fed/state game officials that have been killing 'problem wolves', all along.

I realize control is going on. I don't think one gains much with bravado on the keyboard.

......as I have said before, I have no problem with controlling wolf populations with legal hunting seasons, and  I have no problem with the killing of nuisance wolves. But IMHO, anyone who can gut shoot any animal and brag about it is a dirtball.....period. Ain't none of God's creatures here on earth that deserves that(except maybe for pedophiles). Folks that violate game laws, condone others that violate game laws and brag about it, are not hunters or  sportsmen, but just plain ol' everyday violators. Shootin' a wolf to protect yourself, loved ones or domestic livestock is one thing, but to shoot a wolf  out of frustration because you are not a good enough hunter to get a deer legally, says a lot about  ones character......and the type of hunter you are. Just like whinnin' and blamin' the DNR because the wolves are here. Anyone with any lick of knowledge of the history of the wolf in Wisconsin KNOWS the DNR did not re-establish the wolf population here, that the wolf itself migrated here from Minnesota and Michigan. The reason we cannot control the wolf population here has nuttin to do with the Wisconsin DNR, but with the Feds and the endangered species status. You want the authorities to turn their heads the other way when someone shoots a wolf illegally, than you must also want them to ignore the situation when some dirtball trespasses on your property, and shoots a deer and lets it lay. Regardless of what you believe, there is no difference. Law enforcement people don't MAKE the laws, they ENFORCE them. Sometimes like us, they don't agree with the laws, but their JOB is still to enforce them. For them to only enforce the laws they agree with and for us to follow only the laws we agree with is not how our system works. The way to change the law is not by violating it or the endorsement of others that violate it. The way to change the law is to change those that make the laws.

Sounds simple to me.  Shoot a wolf today and you are a dirtball.   Then tomorrow when it is legal to shoot a wolf, "POOF!"  you are not a dirtball.  It's all up to congress if you are a dirtball.

Sounds TOO simple.   Sorry I decide who goes into my "dirtball list", NOT congress.

I think you are confusing congress with God.

I think you are confusing yourself with God(or congress). You think whatever you do is right regardless if it's legal or not.........cause you say so. Ethics(like gut shooting) is arguable, what's legal(shooting animals outta season) is not.

Sounds simple to me.

It is simple.

Shoot a deer the day before season and you are a dirtball.  Then tomorrow when it's legal to shoot a deer, "POOF" you are not a dirtball and you are a hunter and a sportsman. Not that difficult for most folks to understand.  :D

I enjoy your humor.   It's good that we have people like you who see all laws as equal.  Most of us have been raised to obey the laws.  Some of us are more critical of where it's gotten us and are tired of the foolishness.  The people who wrote our constitution were tired of the foolishness also, and they did something about it.  The nerve of those dirtballs to go against the law!

Thank You!

It's good that we have people like you who see all laws as equal.

Never said all laws were equal, nor did I ever say all laws were fair or made sense. Go back and read my posts. I do respect all laws equally tho....

Most of us have been raised to obey the laws.

Yes we have thank God.

Much of my respect for the law today still stems from the fear of gettin' my azz kicked from the old man.

The people who wrote our constitution were tired of the foolishness also, and they did something about it.  The nerve of those dirtballs to go against the law!

Those that wrote the constitution were fighting Tyranny, taxation without representation and oppression. They were not pissed off at the local government because they disagreed on game laws created by a group of their peers and officials, that they and the majority of their peers voted to put in office. They rebelled against their oppressors to form a democratic society of which we still have today. The system was set up to follow guidelines and laws created by the ideals of the majority of those that lived here. To justify breaking the law to satisfy ones selfish individual wants or needs by comparing it to the creation of the greatest country on earth is an gross insult to their bravery and courage.
