needin' help with this

on a t/c 308win barrel with open sights ,,how do raise the point of impact..the screw on top says UP so do i take it that way to raise it or do i go the other way? same thing for moving right or left,,,i need to move the point of impact left handed ,,,so which way doed that one go.. never had to mess with a handgun with adjustable rear sights .  can someone give me an idea of what to do?

  Raise the rear sight the way you want poi to go.  Up = raise poi. Left = poi to left. Hope this helps. I have problem explaining things.

I told you i had problems explaining things. That was suppose to say move rear sight the way you want poi to go. Hope i didn't confuse you to much.
