Job cancelled today and it's raining... part II

Anyone watch the Golf Championship at Quail Hollow?  How about that 20 year old kid from Ireland, Rory McIlroy, winning the whole enchilada after barely making the cut on Friday!

And poor old Tiger didn't even make the big show.  Guess he's a little distracted, someone overheard him humming that old Eagles tune "Take it Easy".  You know the one where the lyrics go..

"I've got seven women on my mind,
Four that wanna own me,
Two that wanna stone me,
One says she's a friend of mine,"

Speaking of golf.  I played 18 holes this past Thursday and scored a 78 for the round... okay so it was a par three course.

I hear ya Rusty.  My golfing buddies all call me "The Snowman".  Ouch.

I usually shoot around 70  --  but I quit about 14.

The very few times I have tried playing golf, other players said it looked like "Urban Renewel"

All I know is that I would never live long enough to shoot my age. Golf is so frustrating I come back 2 to 3 times a week. God I love the game! Some time I spend more time in the woods golfing than during hunting season. If only I see as many deer as stray golf balls.

I like to tell folks that I never shoot a round above 78... degrees that is.  Any hotter than that and I'm staying in the AC.
