Is the H & R Pardner SG action the same as an SB-1 action in strength ?

Any Pardner shotgun action made 1987 and later IS an SB1 except a 10ga, if you mean the SB1 rifle frame, the only difference is the factory SB1 rifle frames usually have smaller rifle type firing pins and a smaller hole in the standing breech for same, but they fit 357 and 44 mag accessory barrels to any SB1 shotgun frame made 1987 and later.

Short of a actual test to destruction we dont know, all is idle speculation. And said test is only good for the action(s) thus tested, but somewhat indicative of the model.
That said, people have done a number of things with guns that are beyond their 'ratings' and been successful. Others have discovered what the term 'pipe bomb' in front of your face means.
