  Here's my turkey and "everything else" gun,



  I really don't need a spl. gun for turkey, mines a 16ga. loaded with 1-1/4 oz. of 6's.  I let them get within 25 or so yards, and let them have it, it rolls them right over.

I'll be using this 16 gauge H&R hopefully this weekend. I haven't been out hunting yet due to surgery but the doctor cleared me today so I'll be heading out soon.

i roll my own heavy #5 shot for them gobblers, but its primary job is throw'n brenneke's
at whitetail.
i ain't had no luck yet wif it tho on dem turkels....... :-[
ain't seen none closer than 80yrds  :'(

Here's the gun, a converted TDC from parts,some of you have seen, Here also is a young 2yr old gob
killed the first week in NY. Still have another tag & looking for his older brother or Daddy. We have a
month. He's small but as we say "He Eat" ;D

 Went back up to camp this weekend(big rainout last week) no one else would go, so lone wolfed it out
 Got out in the woods by 5:15 sat and got set up near where i heard one gobble the afternoon I got
 there. About 5:30 heard a gooble & a few minutes another that sounded on the ground so gave a low
 clucks. Instant gooble close, gave a couple light clucks & purr & he must a bought it. Came up over the
 edge and hit him at about 15 yds. Was back at camp by 7:00. Tag 2 Done. Hung around had a few a
 shim makers and trout fished & made it home for the Nascar race Sun. Another small one but they are
all great.                 #2 I'm done til fall!

Not really a spring turkey hunter, although I do like to hunt them in the autumn! For now this would be the gun I'd carry. My ole H&R 348 gamester 12ga. Turn that choke to full, works good! Thanks! scout4<><
