« on: May 06, 2010, 06:50:57 PM »
Here what will be accompaning me  this comming season. Finally got a red dot for it and I hope to get it up and running soon. On the top, the bottom will probably go with me as protection from Brown County Grizz, Mountian lion 500lb wild  Russian boar, aaahh, weeellll, how about a P.Oed squirrel!!!  Gary

I`ll probably be looking for a 14" bbl for it before then though..
If you want it destroyed right, call in a B-52

I set my Contender up with a 14" bull .357 maximum barrel, and my back up is a new Handi with a Max reamed barrel as well ;)

Which red dot are you using. I had one on mine, but the dot was to big. Still looking for a scope to instal.

Well it was a BSA RD-30. I have to send it back for repair. 1 shot Friday and one of the glass lenses inside came loose. Guess that what I get for buying used. All wasn`t lost though, I did gt to shoot my VZ-24 8mm and CZ-82 9x18 mak. And my custom built, by me, .45. I had a pretty good time shooting yesterday morning. more to come about the .45 on another post.

Forgot the contender is a 10" 30/30 RIGHT NOW, PROBABLY GONNA CHANGE TO A 14" ? BEFORE HUNTING SEASON.

Good luck keeping a cheap red dot on the Contender. ::)  I hope you always wear a full face guard when you try to shoot it again. ::)  That 10" barrel with the original sights and some practice is all you need for deer around here.  Want to guess how I know? ;D
