1860 Parts Interchangability
« on: May 07, 2010, 02:44:11 AM »
I bought a dirty ASM 1860 with brass frame for 70.00 . The Brass grip, trigger guard, and main frame seems to have rough cosmetics from the factory, but structurally is fine. I have heard that it is best to replace old ASMs with Uberti internals. I would like to hear if anyone here has done that and had success putting Uberti or Pietta parts oon an ASM 1860.
Thanks for any help.

Call VTIgunparts 860-435-8068.  Lisa or someone there should know what might be interchangable.  They have ASM, Uberti and Pietta parts.

Rogmatt; if they don't have it check with Dixie Gun Works .  The operators there are very helpful on that ole stuff..   ;)
