I can't vouch for the authenticity of the picture. It was supposed to have been taken at the May 1st protest in Phoenix. If it's real then it's pretty shocking to me.

it is not photoshoped... if it was there would not be the difference in the letters as it would most likely be a font they used...

Unless the person was good with Photoshop. Or made a sign, took a photo of it, and photoshopped it into another photo.

Why worry about whether the sign is real. You know that's how they feel whether they say it or not. They have drained our social services, overloaded hospitals with free medical care to the point of closing them, and are filling up our prisons, at tax payer expense. Whether the sign is real or not is irrelevant.

So Bruce, can you tell if it has been tampered with? Does that yellow part on the bottom of the sign mean anythiing. It looks a little suspicious. Everything else looks uniformly fuzzy. What do you think?

If this is real I would be totally surprised if the individual was not arrested by those same Cops he is threaten, especially if he is on Sheriff Joe's turf. A sign of this nature is nothing more than a terrorist threat, an arrestable offense in most states and under federal law.

It shows the bottom section of the sign was saved (worked on, etc.) a different number of times than the rest of the image, which usually means tampering with that portion of the image. Compare how distinct the red words are compared to other red parts of the analysis image, such as the red flag stripes on the left. This doesn't necessarily mean it is faked, but just that the red sign has a different work history than the rest of the image.

"Error analysis" say to compare it with the original...how are we to do that? It looks fake. If it isn't, that guy should be found and incarsurated for threatening Law Enforcement - certainly an actionable offense.

It's very troubling ... like when they burned effigies of American soldiers at a college rally in the northwest a few years back ... or threw blood on Vietnam vets a few decades back. It's hate speech. Yet as Mayor Bloomberg has demonstrated, as awful as an event may be, we the American people have the attention span of a gnat. Less than 10 years after 9/11 and the Mayor of NYC bet that the bomb in Times Square was the work of a loner homegrown probably upset about health care. We tend towards denial as a culture, the alternative is just too painful to bear. Well do it here too. We have a La Raza sympathizer on SCOTUS and another seat to fill.

In the interest of truth and being up front about the picture, it does appear that the, (added on), lower part of the sign is a photoshop fake. The analysis shows an issue with the lower part of the sign. The original top part of the sign is still disturbing to me.
