541T Magazines
« on: May 09, 2010, 06:14:07 AM »
Does anyone know where I can obtain some 5 round Remington 541T Magazines? I read somewhere that the model 77 mags will work. What is the model 77?
Thanks for any help on this matter.

Remington probably still has some or you might find some at a gun show. M77 mags worked in mine.

Are they all plastic or are there metal ones available?

The only mags are plastic. The Nylon 77 and 10C were mag fed versions of the Nylon 66. Mags were basically the same. Remington made the 77 mags until just recently. All will work in the 541/581 rifles

The 5 round mags are very scarce.  If you find any, they will be a little pricey.

I haven't found anything but the 10 rounders for the past several years. I would like some 5 round mags myself.
