Where's the CCI RatShot
« on: May 10, 2010, 04:44:51 PM »
The good news is I found some stowed in a corner of my gun cabinet.   They work better than the all metal jackets in my pump .22.  But I was a little annoyed when I discovered all the on-line stores I visited were out of stock on these little boxes of 20 rounds @ $6.00 per box. And what good is a sale if the ammo priced at $4  is not available?   ::)

Lots of guys think these little shot shells are useless, but used for the right purpose, they're safe and effective on large snakes and rats in the shop or barn.   I've easily taken these vermin at 14 feet distance.  And out here where I live, springtime and early summer, my chickens are attacked by huge snakes during the night.  That's usually when I need this type ammo that is safe to use inside the barn.   Always shoot towards the head and the #12 160 shot does the rest.  ;D
