took it out with a pile of differnt loads using 150 sierra flat based spitzers and 150 hornady interlocks. Best groups were the 150 sierra with h4350 that load went 5 shots into 7/8s of an inch and the 150 hornady using ramshot big game went 15/16s for 5 at a 100 yards. Not bad for a couple hundred dollar gun.

Hey Lloyd! I think you got a dandy rifle there buddy! I'm lookin at one of these rifles, its a used one in 243 winchester caliber with a 3-9X32 tasco scope on it. I got mine new for 225 with a scope but it was a crap scope. the reason i got mine so cheap is my best friend is a dealer who is closing his doors and told me to grab what i wanted and sold me 3 rifles. An o6 and a 243 mossberg and a savage 243 all with scopes. He told me his cost with shippng was 250 a piece for the mossberg without a scope. So id say your getting a pretty good deal on a like new gun. I havent shot the other two yet. I gave the mossberg 243 to the son in law and the savage will be for the next grandson old enough.
