Grips

While shooting my Conterder today I got to thinking that it may be easier to control recoil and muzzle flip with a pistol grip on the forend.  Being a newbe to Contenders and knowing the experience of this group I thought I would ask if it has been tried, and what the results were.

No doubt it would look odd, but I wonder how it would work.

But, my guess would be, not all that well; considering the lackluster popularity of the push-pull grip. Also, it strikes a niggling thought that it may have some legal issues. Seems like I ran acrosst that discussion somewhere.  Might only be state-specific, though>>>>>>>>Bug.
