Remington 700 SPS 17 Fireball

Picked it up yesterday, sighted it in some today off hood of my CRV. Got 1 1/4 groups in the good ol' Oklahoma wind, sure it will do 1/2" at least after more shooting and less wind.......

Prolly so. Mine is a Model Seven Predator and it easily does half inch with factory ammo which is all I have shot thru it yet. I have lots of cases and bullets to try but bought so much factory ammo when it first came out that I'm still shooting it after two prairie dog trips to the far OK panhandle. Yup that OK wind does kinda blow those tiny bullets around a bit but my experience with it after two trips out is that if a PD is within 300 yards nothing much matters it's just dead. Belong that the wind is not kinda to those 20 grain bullets.
