Trigger over Travel Screw?
« on: May 13, 2010, 06:30:56 AM »
Hello all,

I am new to post here but have been reading for sometime.

A FA model 97 has been on my "bucket list".  I found one slightly used and bought it.  I was wondering what the Trigger over travel screw was and what it does?  It was one of the options on the 97 I bought.

Thanks for the help,

ddj

prevents the trigger from traveling anymore than necessary to drop the hammer. The extra travel after the "break" can cause you to pull the shot.

I have them on my FA's and really like them.
