Reducing draw weight
« on: May 14, 2010, 05:59:25 PM »
Is it possible to reduce a bow's draw weight without damaging the bow?  I bought a very nice Pearson Hunter that is about five pounds too heavy for me to shoot well.  At my age, and with arthritis in both shoulders, it isn't likely that I will be able to develop the strength to shoot it.  I would hate to sell or trade it, but it's a shame to let such a nice bow just sit around unused.

Get a tad longer string

You can have one made cheap, or do it yourself
