I would first get in contact with the firm and talk about the rifle not being what the add stated to give them a chance to make good or refund your money. As far as bore size , war time production show some oversize bore's, so it could be expected .
Well then too I have bought a new Marlin lever 45/70 (.460) years ago,and a winchester trapper in 44 Mag(431) that had oversized bore's .
Contacted Marlin and was told it was within spec. So it is not a perfect world
If there is still a problem then name the firm, post the add if you can , then we well all be gratful for the heads up.
One firm Tradeex have a good stock of Husky rifles in different calipiers and know of many who have bought a rifle from this Montreal based company. A friend bought a Husq.1600 3006 and is very pleased with the rifle.If this is the company then note it can be returned.
