Several months ago two Irish jounalists - a married couple - came to this city and gave a presentation that pokes holes in the climate change hysteria. It was the most compelling talk I have heard in many years. The next day the local newspaper portrayed the event as one in which there was argument but that was a gross mischaracterization. I know the environmentalists who were there and they were speechless. I must say I was a little speechless myself because what these people had to say is so obvious that I cannot believe it had not occurred to me. Anyone can find them by searching on line for "Not Evil, Just Wrong," which is the name of one of their presentations.
Basically, these people describe earlier media hoaxes and then draw parallels to the climate change hoax. They then describe conditions of and talk with poor people in different parts of the world who are suffering because of this hoax - that is, they are kept in poverty, including having much reduced life spans, by environmental rules that are unnecessary and are not supported by any science. They show people like Al Gore - expecially Al Gore - making statements that are crazy and easily refuted. They talk about how science works, including what was called the scientific method when I was in school, and show that there is no science in the global warming and climate change hysteria.
