i picked up an eton fr500 radio. i cannot pick up anything on the sw and the reception on the am band is not real good. weather band works well though. did i make a bad choice on this one?

DAT19K; if your antenna is not picking up interference you should get fairly good reception on all the bands. My Kaito 1102 does pretty good for its size.

Howdy! Sometimes you can get better reception on some sw bands at night. Shortwave used to be very popular years ago. Always, Gene
