In the local gander mountain there has been a martini for sale for way over a year. Its chambered in 45-70 with something like a 20" barrel(nicely blued) and a nice lyman peep sight. It started out $1300 and is now at $765. What really caught my attention is the action, it is nicely engraved with the name Cisco(I think thats the name) centered on the left side and case hardened. It also has a different style lever and its replacement wood is pretty nice. It isn't nothing extremely fancy but it ain't half bad. To me it appears its not a new conversion and has probably been a safe queen not a hunter. Its biggest flaw is someone put a ugly front fiber optic sight on it, otherwise its a nice rifle. Has anyone seen a cisco martini and is the price too much ? I don't have the money to purchase it but it does have me thinking about a trade. What do you all think ? Dave
