If you want a 9mm yes the G26 is a good one for real CCW. That size frame conceals well. For actual shooting and concealing I like the G-19 but I really got a deal on a G-17 so I bought it. I carry it in a Fobus paddle holster with a golf type shirt pulled over it and it conceals really well for a full size pistol.

I don't know if a 9mm would be good or not I have shot them and I would say it would stop someone especially because glocks can hold so much ammo I don't know if a .45 that is a little bit bigger and doesn't hold as much would be better or not but I think a full size mag in a g26 with so much ammo would stop about anyone.
