What would I NOT hunt with a handgun? As long as it is legal..nothing. Given the right handgun for the task at hand.

I'll use a handgun anytime I don't have a rifle.

I'd feel comfortable (but maybe a little nervous) hunting Anything with my .45 colt - Hot loaded with 325gr-345gr LBT style hard cast lead slugs. I like the "old school" concept - Big Heavy lead slug moving at 1200-1300fps. Put "1 hole in - 1 hole out". My handloads are capable of shooting "stem to stern" through just about anything (mayabe, just maybe - not Bradley Fighting Vehicles)

I shoot the heavy loads in my Redhawk 5 1/2" and Bisley Blackhawk 5 1/2" - totally reliable and accurate.
