Anybody using Simmons WTE? Opinions please.

I've only ever used Leupold and Burris, but have been told the Simmons White Tail Expedition is a very good scope.  Might buy one for an 30-06.  Any opinions?

I am not a big fan of Simmons, but would have to say that the Whitetail Expedition is a very clear and bright scope.  The only thing that I really question is the durability.

I have 2 of the 4-12x42 & really like them. As stated above they are really clear & bright! as far as durable, ive had no problem with either scope. Heres a good link to read about the WTE.

When I see a Simmons scope, I run the other way.  I have seen too many fail at the gun range.  Everything from broken reticles to horrible tracking.

For the money, or even just a bit more, you can get an Elite 3200 which is one of the best values for the money.  If you can afford to spend more, then get an Elite 4200.  I just bought a 4200 2.5x-10x-40mm from Jon at the Optic Zone (which is one of quite of few Elites that I have bought from him) and I couldn't be happier.
