Who's bright idea was this?

2 inches of rain since Thursday!!  The gophers will get drowned out and the ones that don't will be hidden in the grass that grows up before the fields dry out...oh so depressing, I will need counseling.

 >:( :( Bummer , Double D.Since I have been back to Wy. we have had nothing but high winds...I mean whipping.... :-\ the coyote hunting has been slow, haven't seen one antelope fawn yet...as far as gophers, I was out a few times and the numbers seem way down.. Usually in my best spot shooting a hundred or so is no difficulty...mostly I had to work hard and long to bag 50....   :'( Last year they were thick....Haven't even tried P. dogs yet...usually wait til after Memorial Day for those, but it is getting close... maybe all will turn out ok...good shooting...

What, them gophers don't mound up like PD's do when the grass gets high?

I know the pain of the rain, as I've been wanting to get out to the outdoor archery and 3-D ranges, but will have to settle for the indoor target shooting.  I did nail a faral cat today with an arrow.  The dang thing has been stealing the dogs food, which had injured her rear paw from this dang faral cat going after her.  Well today, I spotted that little sucker and pulled off a snap shot with my Bear Kodiak recurve while the dang thing was on the run, but stopped just long enough..... >>--T H W A C K-->
